一、Introduction

The Institute of Molecular Materials Chemistry and Technology (hereinafter referred to as IMMCT) was established in 2008, mainly focusing on the fields of molecular magnetic materials, molecular ferroelectric materials, molecular luminescent materials, laser crystal materials, and molecular catalytic materials to carry out systematic research and engage in theoretical design, chemical synthesis, structural and performance characterization, material device fabrication and application. A number of important original theoretical results and application technology results with independent intellectual property rights were obtained through in-depth research. IMMCT adheres to the application-oriented approach, stands at the forefront of interdisciplinary research, and strives to achieve achievements in both academic and applied fields. At present, IMMCT has for more than 20 National Natural Science Foundation,1 Leading Talent Training programm of the Ganpo Outstanding Talents 555 Project , 3 Projects for Young Scientist Training of Jiangxi Province , 2 Landing Projects of Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education, Jiangxi Natural Science Foundation. There are more than 20 key scientific and technological projects in Jiangxi Province and National Natural Science Foundation,  more than 10 projects commissioned by enterprises. Since its establishment, IMMCT has won 2 Natural Science Awards of Jiangxi Province and 2 Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association Awards. Nearly 200 high-level SCI papers has been published in internationally renowned journals, including more than 40 papers with an impact factor of 4.0 or higher, authorized 20 invention patents and 4 achievement transformations have achieved significant economic and social benefits. IMMCT formed a basic organization of scientific research with functional molecular structure design, synthesis and application ,through resource allocation and platform construction .At present, there are experimental rooms with an area of nearly 2000 m2, with nonlinear optical measurement system, single crystal diffractometer, ultraviolet-visible spectrometer, fluorescence spectrometer, impedance/gain-phase analyzer, solar cell spectral performance tester, magnetron sputtering coating Machines, single crystal growth furnaces, electrochemical workstations and other experimental equipment, with a total value of nearly 20 million yuan.

The institute including 5 professors and 3 associate professors, all  of whom have a doctorate degree and graduated from double first-class university or the Chinese Academy of Sciences. 5 people have overseas study experience, 1 national outstanding teacher, 2 leaders of discipline in Jiangxi Province, 2 young Jinggang scholars, and 3 Jinggang Star. 6 doctoral candidates and 45 master students in this institute. In addition, the institute has established in-depth cooperative relations with domestic and foreign scientific institutions such as Peking University, Nankai University, Nanjing University, Southeast University, the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Fujian Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. We have held many academic conferences, such as the seminar of molecular polarization and device strategy, the first of Chemistry and Technology Symposium, the 8th Frontier Forum on Crystalline Materials Chemistry in 2020.  the IMMCT members have been invited as the speakers to attend important academic conferences at home and abroad for many times.

Tang Yunzhi, Ph.D., Professor, Ph.D. candidate supervisor. He is the director of the Science and Technology Department of JXUST, and the director of the Institute of Molecular Material Chemistry and Technology. He has been successively awarded as a training target for academic and technical leaders in major disciplines in Jiangxi Province, Jiangxi Province Ten Thousand Thousand Talent Project, and Jinggang Star (Young Scientist) in Jiangxi Province Training objects. He has long been engaged in basic theory and application of molecular-based dielectric materials, there are unique opinions on the basic theory and application of rare earth molecular functional materials and surface coating technology of rare earth copper foil . He has presided over nearly 30 general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, sub-projects of the National Twelfth Five-Year Plan, Jiangxi Provincial Talents Fund Projects and enterprise commissioned projects. Published more than 100 papers in internationally renowned journals such as J. Am. Chem. Soc., Chem. Mater., J. Mater. Chem. C, "Science in China", authorized 6 invention patents, and instructed more than 40 doctoral and master students.

Wen Herui, Ph.D., second-level professor, Ph.D. candidate supervisor. He is currently the president of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, a member of the Crystal Chemistry Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society, selected as the national outstanding teacher, the young and middle-aged subject leader in universities in Jiangxi Province, the leader in the "Ganpo Yingcai 555 Project", and the expert with special allowances from the Jiangxi Provincial Government. He has presided over 4 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has published more than 100 SCI research papers in important international academic journals such as Chemical Communications, Inorganic Chemistry, Dalton Transactions, the papers he write is cited nearly a thousand times, won the second prize of Jiangxi Natural Science Award (ranked first) and 3 other science and technology awards. Under his guidance, more than 30 doctoral and master students have successfully graduated, and many of them have won excellent theses at provincial and university levels

Liao Jinsheng, PhD, Professor. He was selected as a young and middle-aged backbone teacher in Jiangxi Province, the outstanding graduate instructor of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, and the young teaching model of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology. He has host over 2 national scientific research projects, 6 provincial and ministerial scientific research projects; and won 1 third prize of scientific and technological achievements of universities in Jiangxi Province. Students have won several national awards in the Challenge Cup under his guidance. As the first author or corresponding author, he published more than 60 academic papers in well-known journals at home and abroad, and 5 authorized invention patents. Two of the graduate students under his supervision have won the university level excellent master's thesis.

Huang Haiping, Ph.D., Professor. He graduated from Nanjing University with a Ph.D. and was a visiting scholar of UIUC in the United States. He was selected into the "Hundred People Voyage Project" in Jiangxi Province, Young Jinggang Scholars in Jiangxi Province, Science and Technology Innovation Talents Program in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. He has presided over 2 national scientific research projects and 4 provincial and ministerial scientific research projects; published more than 40 academic papers in well-known journals at home and abroad as the first author or corresponding author; successively supervised 8 graduate students.

He was selected as a young Jinggang scholar in Jiangxi Province, Jiangxi Province Funding Program for the Outstanding Young Talents , and Science and Technology Innovation Talents Plan of Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. He has presided over 1 national scientific research project, 5 provincial and ministerial scientific research projects;  50 academic papers have been published in well-known journals at home and abroad as the first author or corresponding author; successively supervised 14 graduate students, 3 of whom have graduated and obtained university level Excellent master's thesis. His research interests include the construction of molecular-based magnetic materials and functional MOFs. Papers have been published more than 110 articles in influential academic journals at home and abroad, such as Coord. Chem. Rev., Inorg. Chem., Dalton Trans., Sci. China Chem.  and authorized 6 invention patents.

Ke Yuqiu, Ph.D., associate professor. Fu Junxiang, Ph.D., lecturer. Ph.D. jointly cultivated by Sun Yat-sen University and the University of California, Riverside, a visiting scholar at the National University of Singapore, founder of Hualong Road, Winner of "iF DESIGN AWARD 2020". Gong Guoliang, Ph.D., lecturer.
