()  Introduction

Under the guidance of sustainable development strategy and national policy of environmental protection, the Institute of Resources Chemical Industry and Environment is a research team which mainly engaged in chemical technology research and industrial application. The research fields cover environmental chemical industry, green chemical technology, clean energy and industrial catalytic technology.

For the purpose of resource utilization and environmental protection of organic waste resources and mineral resources, we devotes ourselves to developing new processes and technologies of clean, high value comprehensive utilization and energy cascade recycling in the utilization process of waste resources. And scale-up its technological process combined with computer simulation. The 3D virtual simulation technology is used to reproduce the industrial production process of waste resources regeneration. We also realize the efficient transformation of organic waste resources and the high value, high efficiency and green reuse of organic waste resources.

The leader of the discipline direction-Professor Xiong Daoling, he is also a second-class professor, dean and secretary of the School of Chemical Engineering in Jiangxi University of Science and Technology. He also was awarded as an expert of Jiangxi Province "100-1000-10000 Talent Program", “middle-aged and young discipline leaders in Jiangxi Province”, the expert of Ministry of Education degree thesis evaluation, National Science and Technology Award evaluation and National Natural Science Foundation evaluation. He also is an expert of Jiangxi Province major project evaluation and the executive director of China Energy Society.

The institute now has 10 researchers, including 4 professors, 2 associate professors and 4 lecturers. The research institute has abundant scientific research funds, and students are warmly welcome to join the institute.

Professor Xiong Daoling

Jiangxi Province "Millions Talent Project" selected experts, Jiangxi Province middle-aged and young discipline leaders, the Ministry of Education degree thesis evaluation experts, National Science and Technology Award evaluation experts, National Natural Science Foundation evaluation experts, Jiangxi Province major project evaluation experts, executive director of China Energy Society. He is mainly engaged in research work such as the efficient utilization of resources and the preparation of fuel oil from waste oil, the deep processing of coal chemical industry, the development and application of organic chemicals, and has achieved a series of innovative research results. He presided over 2 national natural science funds, 3 science and technology projects of Jiangxi Education Department, 3 science and technology projects of Jiangxi Science and Technology Department, 3 major projects of Ji'an City and 3 science and technology projects of Ganzhou City, and 8 provincial teaching quality projects and teaching reform projects. He also published more than 100 academic papers, included more than 20 papers by SCI and EI, applied for 21 invention patents (11 authorized), 2 software copyrights, and published 4 academic monographs. He awarded over the completion of 1 third prize for natural science in Jiangxi Province (ranked first), 1 second prize for science and technology of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (ranked first), 1 second prize for teaching achievements in Jiangxi Province (ranked first), and 1 second prize for scientific and technological progress in Luoyang City, Henan Province (ranked first). He mainly engaged in research work in the fields of metallurgy, efficient extraction and comprehensive utilization of resources, presided over 2 national projects (including 1 project on the surface of the National Natural Science Foundation of China), 6 major, key and general projects at the provincial and ministerial level, presided over 3 enterprise cooperation projects, and received funds of more than 1.6 million. More than 17 papers have been published in domestic and foreign academic journals such as "International Journal of Mineral Processing", "Hydrometallurgy", "Journal of Cleaner Production" and "China Journal of Nonferrous Metals", in which 12 papers have been indexed by SCI/EI, 11 patents have been applied, 5 patents have been authorized for invention, 1 transfer of achievements has been granted, and one local standard of Jiangxi Province has been compiled. He hosted 1 provincial education reform project, guided students to approve 2 national innovative and entrepreneurial projects, won 3 prizes in all kinds of competitions, and published 3 monographs. Professor He Zhiguo

Professor /Ph.D., "Outstanding Talents in the New Century" of the Ministry of Education, Distinguished Professor of Furong Scholar, Distinguished Professor of Shenghua Scholars, PhD tutor, Distinguished Professor of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, Professor of Central South University

He served as deputy director of Hunan Organic Pollution Site Remediation Engineering Technology Research Center, deputy director of Hunan Provincial Engineering Laboratory for Microbial Ecological Restoration of persistent Organic pollution sites, and vice chairman of Hunan Environmental Pollution Control Standardization Technical Committee. He received a bachelor's degree from the School of Resource processing and Biological Engineering of Central South University in July 2000 and was sent to graduate school (master's degree). In June 2005, he received a doctorate degree from the School of Resource processing and Biological Engineering of Central South University, and in September 2006, he was employed as an associate professor. In September 2014, he was hired as a PhD tutor, in October 2014, as a professor, and in June 2015, he was appointed as a distinguished professor of Shenghua scholar in Central South University. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow in University of Calgary, Canada from 2008.3 to 2010.12.

In 2011, he was selected as a young talent funding program of Southern University's "Shenghua Education Program". In 2012, he was selected into the "New Century Excellent Talent Support Program" of the Ministry of Education. In 2019, he was hired as a distinguished professor of the "Furong Scholars Award Program".

He mainly engaged in the research and development of harmless solid waste, high-value utilization of resources, theory and technology of joint extraction of secondary resources, environmental remediation materials, environmental microtechnology, extreme environmental microorganisms and microbial macrogenomics, etc. As the project host, he has been responsible for 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, 1 sub-project of the national key R & D project, 1 special project of the public welfare industry of the Ministry of Land and Resources, 2 special projects for the investigation and evaluation of geology and mineral resources of the China Geological Survey, and more than 20 horizontal cooperation projects of enterprises. As a key member, he has successively participated in the research work of many projects supported by the National key basic Research and Development Program (973 Program), the National 12th five-year Plan, the doctoral Foundation of the Ministry of Education, Genome Canada of Canada, the Joint Genome Research Institute of the U.S. Department of Energy, and so on.
